The Walk to Remember was created by young Rwandans as a way of taking a stand against genocide and mass atrocities worldwide.
As part of Kwibuka30 commemorative activities, it will serve as a platform to bring together young people, fostering a collective commitment to remembering the past and safeguarding the unity that Rwandans have so diligently worked for in the last 30 years.
You can organise or join a Walk to Remember in your community. It will be a way to send a powerful message: that you remember the victims of the 1994 genocide and are committed to fighting prejudice wherever it exists.
